I had a blast at NSS 2014! I wasn't sure what to expect as a new exhibitor, but I made new sales, new contacts, and new friends. Even though it was a lot of work, I'm ready to do it all over again next year!
The Jacob Javits Center was home sweet home for several days.
My first sign was waiting for me when I arrived, but I had lots of work to do.
So glad my lovely daughter, Renee, took time off to help me get set up!
We got everything up on the walls in a short amount of time... next year it will take a bit longer. I have big plans!
The floral and photo cards went on one side...
And the vintage envelope cards went on the other side.
I was invited to a fancy networking cocktail event, hosted by Maison & Objet and held at Blackbody, a fab lighting company, in Soho.
More wonderful help -- my friend and soon-to-be sis-in-law Joi, and my brother, Zach!
My friends Liz Hutcheson and Paul Hempel were also part of my terrific sales team. Liz has her own design company (www.fastsnail.com). Paul and I have been friends for many years via our common link -- Ron Henderson, who was Paul's husband, and who was my dear friend.
And Rose Lazar of The Great Lakes (www.thegreatlakesgoods) stopped by to say Hi!
Now my cards are being featured all across the country... and I'm just getting started. :)
