Travel Here: The Little Shop, Mt. Jackson, VA

If you're on a road trip from Northern Virginia to the Shenandoah Valley for mountain biking, viewing fall foliage, or simply getting away from the hustle and bustle of the Beltway, swerve off Interstate I-81 for a little while and take a break. The Little Shop, on Route 11 in Mount Jackson, will serve you a little coffee break while you shop for arts, crafts, and lovely gifts. There are some wonderful artisans represented here.

I fell in love with this beautiful original painting.

And I really liked the scrap metal lamp, and wall hooks, by Mike Brubaker, The Stone Farmer.

Arts and crafts line the walls and fill the tables in this beautiful, tiny store. Brian and Krista have made this shop a home away from home, and it's super comfy and inviting.

Beverly Jones, Paper Traveler greeting cards! Yippee!

A very cool incense holder.

Stop in for a cup of coffee and a friendly Hello, and tell the folks at The Little Shop that I sent you!
